This drink is very simple to make and only requires a few ingredients.
Ingredients (for 1 glass)
- 2 g of Kyoyu matcha (Kisakuna, Tanoshi or Shinsetsu)
- 30 ml of hot water (80°C)
- 140 ml of fresh coconut juice
- Ice cubes
Preparation method
- Prepare 140 ml of coconut juice in a pretty glass and add ice cubes for a very cold drink.
- Sift 2g of matcha into a bowl to avoid lumps.
- Pour 30 ml of hot water (80°C) over the matcha.
- Whisk vigorously for 15 seconds in a W motion with a chasen (bamboo whisk) until you obtain a fine foam.
- Carefully pour the matcha into the glass containing the coconut juice.
- Enjoy immediately and savor this harmony between the power of matcha and the sweetness of coconut.
